The Magistrate Court has postponed the assault case tendered against EFF leader – Julius Malema and Mbuyiseni Ndlozi until 13 October.

On Monday morning, the two EFF leaders briefly appeared in the Randburg Magistrate’s Court.

Far back in 2018, the pair were accused of assault against a police officer at the funeral of Winnie Madikizela-Mandela.

The assaulted police officer placed charges against Malema and Ndlozi.

An evidence of assault was brought out by CCTV camera that caught the scene and was released by the lobby group – AfriForum.

However, Malema and Ndlozi have said the case tendered against them will amount to nothing and just a waste of time.
