From John Cena to Ronda Rousey, Six WWE Superstars Who Have Appeared in Fast and Furious Movies

Numerous WWE Superstars have transitioned to Hollywood. However, the Fast and Furious franchise has witnessed the most number of Superstars such as Roman Reigns, Ronda Rousey, John Cena, The Rock, and others.

Dwyane “The Rock” Johnson

The Great One appeared in Fast Five for the first time as Luke Hobbs. He played the role of a member of the Diplomatic Security Service. Since then, he’s made appearances and played crucial roles in all the movies.

Each of the segments he was in has been intense, thrilling, and most of them packed with action. He started off as enemies with the man character, Dominik Toretto (Vin Diesel), but ended it as allies.

Ronda Rousey

The Baddest Woman on the Planet made her Fast and Furious 7. She was a part of the action filled segment where she fought one of the main characters (Letty).

She pulled off several of her signature moves during the fight sequence, and even Roman Reigns’ Superman Punch. Even though she played a brief role, it was a perfect way to showcase her immense talents as a fighter.

Roman Reigns

Coming to Fast and Furious 9, it’s The Tribal Chief. He makes an appearance as a part of the Hobbs family as Mateo. The movie brought Roman Reigns and The Rock’s relationship to life, when it presented them as brothers.

While Reigns and The Rock aren’t blood related, they’ve often referred to one another as cousins.

The Great One and The Tribal Chief work together in an action filled sequence where Reigns pulls off a Samoan Drop as well.

The Usos never appeared in the movies but the term “Uso” was used several times.

The Big Show (Paul Wight)

While Paul Wight did not appear in any of the movies, he voiced a character in the animated version – Fast and Furious, Spy Racers.

John Cena

The Invisible Man himself has made his WWE debut at Fast 9 where he plays the role of Jacob Toretto. The movie is due for release soon, and the fans can’t wait any longer!

Is John Cena returning to wrestling?

While Roman Reigns and The Big Show are still actively working in the wrestling industry, John Cena is not.

It is assumed John Cena will return to the squared circle sometime in the future, probably at SummerSlam 2021, but neither the company nor the man has made any such announcement.
